COMSA is a society of coffee growers in the region of Marcala, La Paz, Honduras, that achieving economic, social and environmental objectives, as a strategy for reducing poverty and promoting sustainable development is proposed.
Founded in 2001, with 7,000 lempiras of capital from the Rural Enterprise Development which was a partner with a majority of shares, and its foundation 60 coffee producers, 12 women and 48 men. The company was a project that would help the partners directly exported its coffee production, so the shares owned to date have been transferred to small farmers so that, over time, Rural Enterprise has ceased to be a shareholder with their being 1500 growers now.
